Worshiping God is at the center of all we do here at St. Matthew’s. We gather weekly on Sundays at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and for Evening Service (October to May). The 8:00 a.m. service is a shorter said (no music) service with communion while the 10:00 a.m. is a sung (with music) service with communion, and the Evening Service at 5:00 p.m. (October to May) takes the best of our Anglican liturgical tradition, to offer a more informal worship experience (no robes or processions) with a mix of contemporary Christian music and traditional hymns played by a local group of musicians. All are invited to join us for a hot meal after the service. The 10:00 a.m. service also includes a children’s talk at the start as well as Sunday School and Nursery. There is coffee, tea and refreshments following the 10:00 a.m. service each week, and the first Sunday of the month after the 8:00 a.m. service. At different times throughout the year special services are also offered.
8:00 a.m. A quiet, said service (no music) with communion that lasts about 50 minutes.
10:00 a.m. A sung service (with music) about 70 minutes. Sunday school and nursery available.
5:00 p.m. First Sunday of every month, November to June. Contemporary communion service with current Christian music and traditional hymns played by local musicians. Dinner following the service for those who can stay.
